A Bit About Me

I’m David, and I work to be a pioneer in arts education. As a composer and performer, I have seen the difference the arts can make in a life, and I want to bring that difference to arts students from all walks of life. I empower artistry through mentorship in my voice and piano students. I run an evolving practice to bring current knowledge and the best private lesson experience I can provide.

Private Lessons

Masterclasses

Rising Young Artist (RYA)

Discover personalized lessons in voice and piano designed to meet you exactly where you are. My personal teaching philosphy is that you will not adapt to me but I to you. My specialities in education are pop/rock stylings, musical theatre, composition/songwriting, playing-by-ear, and performance.There are in-person and virtual options available.

I offer a variety of masterclasses through my studio. These masterclasses can be brought to your classroom, theatre troupe, church music department, basically any group that performs music. My signature masterclasses are in vocal health and audition prep, which can be tailored to your groups needs. You can also book me for a custom masterclass!

To address the growing needs of my students, I pioneered a pre-professional training track for students ages 8–19. This evolving program seeks to equip students with resources and knowledge for their artistic discplines. Currently, this program predominately serves students interested in professional opportunites in performance, musical theatre, songwriting, music production, and worship.
